Obama welcomes the 2013 NBA Champion Miami Heat BACK to the White House (Video)

President Obama welcomed the 2013 NBA Champion Miami Heat BACK to the White House on Tuesday, and the event was just as memorable as last year…though this time he remembered Erik Spoelstra’s name (last year he just called him “Coach”), and Pat “Romney Supporter” Riley graced the crowd with his attendance.

Ever the NBA superfan, Obama didn’t need a teleprompter to talk for nearly 10 minutes about the champs. He related their struggle for love/respect and wished them well, so long as their success didn’t come against the Bulls. For their part, the Heat gave the Bulls fan a badass signed version of the Larry O’Brien trophy and a “POTUS” Heat nickname jersey – all to which he replied “you guys are winning me over a little bit.”

President Barry O even threw in a couple jabs like “I think we should take a picture, but we should make it quick, before one of these guys starts yelling at Mario…I mean, sometimes it’s just a bad pass. It’s not Mario’s fault.” Good times had by all. Will be fun when we go back again next year, too.
