LeBron Would ‘Love’ to Spend Career with Heat, Staying in Miami ‘Ideal’
“So what hair product do you use? I’m just kidding, I don’t care.”
Heat fans can relax…for now. With LeBron able to test the free agent market next summer, the obnoxious prognosticators are out in full force – but LeBron seems to want to stay in Miami:
“I have absolutely no idea. I would love to spend the rest of my career in Miami with this great team and great organization as we continue to compete for championships. That’s ideal.”
Suck it, HeATERs. What? There’s more? Uh-oh:
“But we don’t know what may happen from now to the end of the season. That’s the nature of the business. It’s the nature of not knowing what tomorrow brings. I mean, as a kid, I never thought the Bulls would break up. Never. If you’d of told me as a kid that Jordan and Pippen wouldn’t play together for the rest of their lives, I’d have looked at you crazy. And Phil Jackson wouldn’t be the coach? I’d have looked at you crazy. But sometimes the nature of the business doesn’t allow things to happen like you would want them to. But we’ll see.”
He just had to go and leave the door open, didn’t he. But I ain’t got no worries; this is nothing like the put-up-or-shut-up writing on the wall he plastered all over Cleveland. As long as Wade and (more importantly) Pat Riley don’t crap the bed, South Florida should be King James’ kingdom for the long haul.
