Tea Party Crowd Cheers for 11 yr old Girl’s Dad to be Deported
At a town hall meeting last week in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tea Party Congressman Scott DeJarlais was cheered by the Tea Party crowd when he told an 11 year old girl that her dad will be deported:
“Mr. DesJarlais, I have papers, but I have a dad who’s undocumented,” eleven year old Josie Molina asked the congressman. “What can I do to have him stay with me?”
“Thank you for being here, and thank you for coming forward and speaking,” DesJarlais answered. “This is a big, intimidating crowd, and I appreciate you coming forward and asking a queston. But the answer still kind of remains the same. We have laws, and we need to follow those laws, and that’s where we’re at.”
Yup, these assholes cheered that a family should be broken up. At least the Congressman condemned the crowd for crushing the poor girl’s dreams — just kidding; Dejarlais didn’t say shit, just soaked up the applause. It’s not enough to dismantle our government, now the Tea Party is applauding dismantling families too.
Oh, for those of you keeping score at home, Dejarlais is the staunchly pro-family and pro-life congressman who was re-elected even after it was uncovered that he forced one of his many mistresses to get an abortion. Because, Amurika.
