Stewart and O’Reilly debate “Common” issue

Jon Stewart went on The O’Reilly Factor to “fair and balance” the ridiculous debate about Common being invited to the White House.

In case you missed it (you lucky bastard), last week the “socially conscious” rapper, Common, was invited to the White House as part of a poetry reading. Right wingers started spewing so much hypocritical crap that TVs and Radios actually started to shit into people’s living rooms and cars. Stewart broke the idiocy in a hysterical rap (video below), so O’Reilly asked him to come on his show and “debate” the issue. An O’Reilly debate usually means listening to Bill repeat the same statement over and over, and get louder to make his point…but Stewart does his best to speak up for sane America.

…and from the Horn, 5/12:

On Common Ground

So the Obamas invited the “social conscious rapper” Common to read poetry at the White House. Of course this means Common is now a cop-killing, misogynistic  devil, at least according to Sean Hannity, Karl Rove and other disgusting Repugnicans. What did he do so wrong to invoke all this ire? The 2-time Grammy winner was invited to the White House, that’s all. Some of the shit they spewed is so blatantly hypocritical, and filled with manipulative lies, that you can’t even believe they’re saying it with a straight face.

I was going to write a whole piece on it, but the Master, Jon Stewart, said all that needs to be said. Watch both videos below.
